Dear Dr. Burns,
I have read your book, Feeling Great, and it has helped me tremendously! I seem to be in a rut however and I can tell I’m slipping back in progress. It feels like there’s more resistance to my thoughts and feelings than there used to be, and I can’t seem to make much progress. It seems Positive Reframing has not been having the same effect since I’ve been in this rut. I’m wondering if maybe I tried a half truth or rationalization and that caused the spike in my subconscious resistance/defensiveness? I’ve been trying to make sure I don’t do those especially recently. What are some errors people make that might cause something like this? Thanks!!!
Thanks! One common error is not giving me some specific I might ber ablet to comment on or help with! Try again if interested. Warmly, david
