May 16, 2021 | 7 CE hours. $135
Featuring David Burns, MD and Jill Levitt, Ph.D.
Sponsored by the Feeling Good Institute
Dear friends and colleagues,
I would like to invite you to attend a very special and exciting event!
The live therapy demonstrations at my workshops for the past 25 years have been immensely popular, inspiring, and helpful, both from a professional and personal perspective. That’s why I am so excited to bring you a full day of live work featuring sessions conducted by Dr. Jill Levitt and me working as co-therapists. We will work in real time with two audience volunteers who are struggling with feelings of inadequacy, depression, anxiety, and thinking, perhaps, that they are “not good enough.” Have you or your clients ever had those kinds of concerns?
This will give you the chance to go behind closed doors to observe Jill and me, working with individuals much like you, in real time, to bring about rapid and profound change. You will learn a great deal about the art and science of psychotherapy, and you may do some personal healing at the same time.
Jill and I will make selective teaching points at each phase of the session, highlighting the importance of T = Testing, E = Empathy, A = Assessment of Resistance, and M = Methods. Although change obviously cannot be guaranteed, we will try to bring about a dramatic reduction in symptoms during each session.
When you witness the transformation of depression and anxiety into feelings of joy, relief, and enlightenment, you will feel much better about your own flaws, and you will discover some awesome new tools that can improve your clinical outcomes.
If you’d like to boost your therapy skills and develop grater joy in your personal life and clinical work, this might be one of the most rewarding workshops of your career!
Teaching methods will include didactic segments, live therapy, and small group practice with experts who will provide mentoring and feedback.
Jill and I hope you can join us!
Registration will be strictly limited. Don’t wait too long and end up disappointed!
This workshop will be limited to mental health professionals and graduate students in some branch of mental health.
