I wanted to share this lovely email with you. I receive quite a few like this, and thought I might publish one or two from time to time.
Dear David and Fabrice,
It is such a joyful experience to listen to you guys. I am thrilled by the content of the podcast as it touches every angle in my life and helps me cope with many of the challenges I am currently experiencing. But beyond the content and the serious topics you cover, it is the dynamics between you guys and the other co-therapists and guests you bring in that make it a rich, funny and heeling experience.
I find myself listening over and over to old episodes depending on the struggles I am having at certain periods of my life. The live sessions with Mark is where I found compassion towards myself, the session with Marilyn is where I realize that being kind and emphatic towards oneself is the key to heeling from years of self blame.
The vignettes you bring (and I really don’t care if you repeat yourself David) are interesting, informative and moving. Without them many topics in the podcast would just sound like text book material and would not be appealing to lame listeners like me.
So thanks a lot guys, and keep on the great work.
Alon, your listener from Israel …
Thanks, Alon. Your email means a lot to Fabrice and me!
