Burns / Yapko Interview

Hi all,

This is a blog for therapists, but I’m posting it here for the general public as well.

Today I had the wonderful opportunity to be interviewed by Michael Yapko, PhD for the Erikson Foundation. They will be publishing an edited print version in their upcoming Newsletter. I think they are trying to stir up some interest for their wonderful Brief Psychotherapy Conference in December, where I will be presenting a keynote address. I am very indebted to Dr. Jeffrey Zeig for giving me this chance!

Michael asks me about my evolution from a biological psychiatrist to a cognitive therapist and now to a T.E.A.M. therapist, as well some of the latest thinking about dealing with resistance, and even some blurbs about my free training groups at Stanford.
