Personal Experience with Depression and PTSD

Hi Dr. David,

I want you to know that I was diagnosed with severe depression and PTSD when I was 17 and tried to commit when I was 19. I didn’t think I was going to make it to 25 years old.

My psychiatrist suggested I get your book, Feeling Good. She said that I could photocopy it at the local library, but that was too expensive for me. Instead, I got my pennies together and bought it new. That was the best decision I’ve made in my life!

I turned 40 last year and I’m alive today because your book has been my guide. I’ve graduated to Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy to guide me through the next phase of my treatment.

Thank you!

Kind Regards,
